You were not surprised by that comment in the slightest, I mean who would stay in a run down place like this in the middle of nowhere? You thought to yourself annoyed that you were in this predicament. Inheritor chuckled “Hah! Well isn’t it your lucky day today? Your my first guest of the week so all my rooms are vacant!”. “Now young one, would you care for a room?” He repeated, the guest snapped out of their gaze and attempted to answer Inheritors question with a stutter heard behind their voice “W-why yes please! D-don’t suppose you have any left?”. was that part of it? He spoke again with a calm and sly tone with a small hint of rasp heard in his voice “Ah how rude of me, I haven’t introduced myself, my name is Inheritor and welcome to my hotel” he bent down giving a graceful bow while still intimidating the guest who was in awe over his appearance. He had a broad red and black chest with what appeared to be a cracked skull on his head or. ![]() looking for a room?” A giant figure stood before our guest towering over them casting a large shadow of darkness. “Why good day young one! Are you perhaps. No one down the left hallway, nothing down the right, it looks like this was place was abandoned after all until suddenly. “A hotel? Why would a building of this kind be this deep in a forest?” Cautiously, They took a few steps back from the building it didn’t even look like it was inhabited let alone able to stand, all the windows were boarded up, the tiles of the roof were cracked or had fallen onto the front porch and it looked like the foundation had taken some good wear and tear over the years.īut any shelter was good shelter and it would beat standing out in this elusive forest with torrential weather They thought to themselves and began to open the door to the hotel, it was old as expected with holes and cracks all over, it gave a large creak as it opened echoing into the empty hollow hallways which seemed to continue endlessly in darkness. Slowly a faint glow could be seen ahead amidst the thick fog, the light was emitted from a small wooden building that appeared to be a hotel. “How did I get here? I should’ve been home by now” they said flightendly under their breath. ‘They’ were walking along a hollowed out dirt path nervous about their current surroundings, they seemed to be lost in the depths of the woods. It was a grim and sinister night, the trees of the forest were groaning and creaking slowly as the howling wind shook their branches.
